The exhibition will be inaugurated at 11 a.m on October 9 by Kerala Industries Minister P. K. Kunhalikutty. One of the key attractions will be the PMFME Pavilion, which is expected to feature more than 100 Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) units from Kerala. The pavilion will highlight products and opportunities emerging from the state's food-processing and agriculture-based enterprises. Kerala Times

More than 200 stalls are expected at the exhibition, covering areas such as food-processing machinery, packaging equipment and technology, dairy and milk processing, beverages, cold storage and refrigeration, post-harvest technology, agri-business, ingredients, food-sector startups and quality certification. The organisers have also said that more than 350 trade buyers have already registered. Business networking sessions and specialised programmes are planned alongside the exhibition, including a B2B networking session and a food-packaging training programme for entrepreneurs.

FoodTech Kerala 2026 is expected to provide Kerala's food-processing and agro-based MSMEs with opportunities to explore new technologies, modern machinery, packaging solutions and wider market connections. The event will also create a platform for manufacturers and suppliers to connect directly with processors, retailers, hospitality-sector buyers and other industry stakeholders.
