Kumarakom, August 24, 2026: Kumarakom is set to receive fresh international tourism exposure in September as the popular backwater destination joins the familiarisation tour connected with Indo-Arab Connect 2026.

More than 175 travel agents and tour operators from 11 Arab countries are expected to take part in the programme. The main business event will be held in Kochi on August 31 and September 1, followed by a Kerala familiarisation tour from September 2 to 9, 2026.

Kumarakom will be included in the tour along with major Kerala destinations such as Kochi, Munnar, Alappuzha, Kovalam and Wayanad.
